BIOSKETCH
Mrs. Kuppan Luke has a wealth of experience in the field of Nuclear Medicine with 33 years of service at Addington and Inkosi Albert Luthuli Central (IALC) Hospital. She was involved with the commissioning and establishment of the Nuclear Medicine department at IALC Hospital in 2003. She participated in setting up the first PET/CT department in a public sector hospital in South Africa (KZN) (2007) and as ”Super user of the E-soft, EVO and INTEVO Gamma camera and Biograph PET/CT was requested to conduct applications training for nuclear medicine staff at other hospitals in the country. Mrs. Kuppan Luke has dual qualification in Nuclear Medicine and Diagnostic Radiography (National Diploma in Nuclear Medicine from Peninsula Technikon (CPUT) in 1984, National Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography from Peninsula Technikon in 1988 and a National Higher Diploma in Nuclear Medicine from Natal Technikon – Durban in 1994).
